Update lock message

When a device locks, a message displays on the lock screen. You can update this message as needed.

Update lock message

To update the lock message for select devices:

  1. On the Devices page, select one or more locked devices.

  2. Click ACTIONS > Manage device > Update lock message.

  3. Enter a Message to display.

  4. Click CONFIRM.

Update lock message in bulk

You can select devices in bulk by entering their IMEIs or serial numbers into a standardized template. The maximum number of devices you can select in one action is 10,000.

To update lock messages in bulk:

  1. Click BULK ACTIONS in the bottom of the left navigation pane.

  2. To download a standard template, click Download CSV template.

    For information on how to create a properly formatted CSV file, click Instructions for all bulk actions from the bottom left-hand side of the Bulk actions screen.

  3. Under MESSAGING, click UPDATE LOCK MESSAGE and upload your CSV file containing the device IDs.

  4. Enter a Message to display.

  5. Click CONFIRM.
