Delete devices

Consider removing a device from Knox Guard if it’s rejected or payment complete. When a device is deleted from Knox Guard, the device is removed from the server and the Knox Guard client is uninstalled. Once deleted, all of the device’s information and history is removed.
Delete selected devices
To permanently delete a device from Knox Guard:

On the Devices page, select one or more devices.

Click ACTIONS > Delete device.
The Delete device action is only available in the actions menu if the selected device is in the Pending, Rejected, Activating, Resetting, Completing, or Complete device state.

Click DELETE.

(Optional) You can click ACTIONS > View device deletion log to review a log of the devices removed from the Knox Guard console.
Refer to the following device log information:
- DEVICE — IMEI or serial number of the deleted device.
- DEVICE MODEL — Model of the deleted device.
- DATE DELETED — Date the device was deleted.
- DELETED BY — The user that deleted the device.
To save the device log, click DOWNLOAD DEVICES AS CSV.
Delete devices in bulk
You can delete devices in bulk by entering their IMEIs or serial numbers into a standardized template. The maximum number of devices you can delete in one action is 10,000.
You can only delete devices in the Pending, Rejected, Activating, Resetting, Completing, or Complete device state.
To delete devices in bulk:

Click BULK ACTIONS in the bottom of the left navigation pane.

To download a standard template, click Download CSV template.
For more information on how to create a properly formatted CSV file, click Instructions for all bulk actions from the bottom left-hand side of the Bulk actions screen.

Under DEVICE MANAGEMENT, click DELETE DEVICES and upload your CSV file containing the device IDs.

Click CONFIRM.
