Apply or remove Firmware auto download over Wi-Fi

To keep your Knox Guard enrolled devices updated with the latest firmware, you can use the Firmware auto download over Wi-Fi policy to force devices to automatically download the latest firmware version when they connect to Wi-Fi.

If enabled, device users won’t be able to turn off automatic firmware downloads.

Apply Firmware auto download over Wi-Fi

To mandate automatic download of firmware:

1. On the Devices page, select one or more devices.

2. Click ACTIONS > Apply Firmware auto download over Wi-Fi.

   

3. Click APPLY.

Remove Firmware auto download over Wi-Fi

To remove mandatory firmware auto download requirements:

1. On the Devices page, select one or more devices.

2. Click ACTIONS > Remove Firmware auto download over Wi-Fi.

3. Click REMOVE.
