Refer to the following Knox Guard dashboard components to review device information, license compliance, and device lock states.

Device status

The Knox Guard dashboard displays the following device states:

  • Attention — The number of devices that warrant administration in Knox Guard. Device states that warrant attention include:

    • Locked — Devices locked due to overdue payments by the device user. The device remains locked until payment is delivered.
    • Reminder On — Devices currently receiving a reminder message about their device status.
    • Offline Locked — Devices locked by the Offline device lock policy.
  • In progress — The number of devices in a transitional state: Activating, Resetting, Locking, Unlocking, Starting Reminder, Stopping reminder, and Completing.

  • Complete — The number of the devices that are payment complete and no longer actively managed by Knox Guard.

  • Active — The number of devices actively managed by Knox Guard.

License status

The LICENSE STATUS section of the dashboard displays license activation, remaining seats, and remaining license period information. For more information on Knox Guard licenses, see Manage licenses.

  • LICENSE NAME — Name of the license.

  • STATUS — Current status of the license: Expired, Active (successfully enrolled in Knox Guard), or Registered (not yet activated).

  • REMAINING SEATS — Number of remaining license seats available.

  • ACTIVATION END DATE — The date by which license seats must be activated. Once the activation end date has passed, new devices can’t be activated with this license. Devices already activated using this license will remain active for the remainder of their device usage period.

Refer to the DEVICE TRENDS graph to review Knox Guard events for a selectable trending period. You can view device trends for the last 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 1 year, year to date (YTD), or a Custom time period.
