How to restrict a user from sharing device data with Knox Configure

This article provides information on basic policies to set in KC in order to restrict a user from sharing device data.

Below is a list of policies available in KC to restrict a user from sharing device data.

In the KC console, under Profiles, select Create profile.
On the Device Connectivity page, ensure you:
- Select Disable Bluetooth
- Select Disable NFC
- Under USB Connection > Set default USB connection type to Charging
On the Device Settings page:
- Under Hide Settings menu/elements, select Bluetooth and Developer
- Under Developer settings, select Disable USB debugging mode
- Under Security, select Disable SD Card Access
On the Restrictions page:
- Under DEVICE FUNCTIONALITY:
  - Select Prevent end-users capturing the screen
  - Select Prevent end-users from sending SMS
  - Select Prevent end-users from sending MMS
- Under USB DEVICE RESTRICTIONS:
  - Select Disable USB Media Transfer Protocol (MTP)
