Overview

This article explains how to use Knox Configure to completely block access to ChatGPT, including through web browsers.

How to disable ChatGPT

To completely block ChatGPT access on your devices:

  1. On the Knox Configure console, select or create a new profile.
  2. Navigate to the Applications, widgets, and content page.
  3. Under Disable the usage of other applications, enter the ChatGPT app’s package name in the field:
    • openai.chatgpt
  4. Under Application URL restrictions, add the ChatGPT app’s package name to the Applications field:
    • com.openai.chatgpt
  5. In the URL blocklist, enter the URLs you want to block using wildcard notation. For example:
    • https://chatgpt.com*
    • https://www.openai.com*
  6. Save your changes and push the profile to your devices.
