An error occurred with setSealedStatusBarMode in your profile

Overview

When enrolling a device in the Knox Configure console, you might encounter the following error in your device logs:

Error 51010: An error occurred with setSealedStatusBarMode in your profile. Check the configuration items in your profile and retry.

Cause

This error may be a result of a policy conflict that occurs when the following two settings are enabled simultaneously:

1. Kiosk settings > STATUS Bar > Hide status bar specifically controls visibility of the status bar.
2. Sound & display > Display > Hide system bar controls the visibility of the entire system bar, including the status bar.

Both settings attempt to control the status bar’s visibility. However, these settings are incompatible and can’t be applied together.

Resolution

To resolve this error, ensure you only configure one of these policies.
