Updates to device search from 23.09

Overview

Starting with Knox Configure 23.09, users are no longer able to search for devices by the following attributes:

  • Profile
  • User ID
  • Model
  • Tags
  • Order number

You can now only search for devices by IMEI/MEID, serial number, or custom ID. In addition, the search term must be an exact match. For example, searching for a custom ID of NewDevice would return NewDevice but not MyNewDevice or NewDeviceID.

This change was made to improve the performance of the device search.

The Samsung Knox Configure team is currently working to further improve the functionality of the device search.

Workaround

To perform advanced searches on the device list, download the list and filter the resulting CSV file.
