Once you create your Samsung Knox account, you can log into the Knox Admin Portal to begin using Knox Configure.

Enable Knox Configure in the Knox Admin Portal

If you’re launching Knox Configure for the first time, you may need to enabled the service if it’s missing from the left navigation pane after signing in. To enable the service:

  1. Go to your Knox Admin Portal settings by clicking your account icon in the upper right corner, then click Settings.
  2. On the Settings page, click SHOW/HIDE SERVICES.
  3. Select KNOX CONFIGURE, then click CONFIRM. You should see Knox Configure appear in the left navigation pane after the service is enabled.

Register your reseller

After you sign up for a Samsung Knox account and get access to the Knox Configure service, you’ll need to purchase Supported phones, tablets or wearable devices from an authorized Knox device reseller and have them upload the device IDs directly to your account.

To allow resellers to upload devices to your account, you’ll need to do the following:

  1. Locate your Knox Customer ID by clicking your account icon in the upper right corner. Copy this number and send it to your reseller when you purchase devices.
  2. Obtain your reseller’s Knox Reseller ID.
  3. In the Knox Configure menu on the left navigation pane, click Resellers.
  4. On the Resellers page, click REGISTER RESELLER.
  5. Enter the reseller’s Reseller ID and click LOOK UP. If the ID was valid, the reseller’s company name and country will display.
  6. Click REGISTER to complete the registration.

Approve devices

When a reseller uploads devices to your account, they appear in the Devices page. If this is your first purchase, you may need to approve the devices. To do this:

  1. Click Devices in the left navigation pane, then click the UPLOADS tab.

  2. In the table, you’ll see a Pending status for all new reseller uploads. Click View to review the upload.

  3. On the upload details page, review your purchased devices and click APPROVE ALL DEVICES.

  4. In the Approve new upload pop-up window, you can choose to auto-approve all uploads, or auto-assign a profile and license, whenever you make additional purchases from this reseller in the future.

You can also auto-approve uploads and auto-assign profiles and licenses from the Reseller page. See Manage resellers for more information.

  5. Click APPROVE, then return to the UPLOADS tab where you should see the STATUS change from PENDING to APPROVED.
