Knox Authentication Manager v1.3 release notes

New features

Knox Authentication Manager v1.3 introduces the following new features:

Microsoft Intune support

Previously, Knox Authentication Manager supported only three UEMs:

  • VMware Workspace ONE
  • SOTI MobiControl
  • Samsung Knox Manage

Starting with v1.3, Knox Authentication Manager supports Microsoft Intune as well. Intune users can now authenticate with the Microsoft Managed Homescreen if it’s set as the main sign-in method.

Landscape support for Tab S8+

This release adds the ability for Tab S8+ users to use Knox Authentication Manager when their devices are in landscape mode.

Debug mode

This release adds a feature called Debug mode, which enables users to send bug reports from their devices to the Knox Authentication Manager team. When enabled by admins, users can tap a floating button to open the Debug mode menu to send a bug report from any screen on their device.

Users can turn this feature off in the Knox Authentication Manager menu.

User feedback

Previously, users could submit in-app feedback through messages from the Give feedback screen to the Knox Authentication Manager team.

The Give feedback screen now allows users to select a bug to report, suggest a feature request, or send a customized report.
