Last updated January 15th, 2025

New

Ability to create app usage reports

To help you analyze data related to how apps are used in your fleet, you can now generate an app usage report for up to 10 apps at a time. See Create app usage reports to learn more.

General availability of Anomaly detection and ability to detect ANR and FC issues for each app version

Anomaly detection, previously a Labs feature, is now released for general availability to all customers.

With this release, Anomaly detection adds support for ANR (Apps Not Responding) and FC (Forced Closed) events for each app version.

Ability to receive latency anomaly alerts (Labs)

You can now receive automated near-real time (within two hours) email alerts when abnormal group network latency anomalies are detected, allowing you to quickly recognize an issue and work on its mitigation.

See Manage email preferences to learn more about this new feature.

Support for battery auto-optimization (Labs)

The Dashboard > Settings page now includes a new BATTERY tab with a Battery auto optimization during work shift option that lets you extend the battery usage time of your front line workers’ devices.

Updates

Changes to battery health assessment criteria

The Battery health insight — previously called Battery state of health — now reports your device’s overall battery condition based on a combination of BSOH (battery state of health) and charging cycle data. A Weak battery state was also added in addition to the existing Good, Normal, and Bad states.

Samsung does not perform battery diagnosis on device models with replaceable batteries. For these models, health data reported by Knox Asset Intelligence is only provided as a reference.
