Manage email preferences

Knox Asset Intelligence can send email alerts to you or other admins in your organization whenever certain network, app, or battery issues are detected.
You can manage your email alerts in one of two ways:
- On the Knox Admin Portal Settings page, go to KNOX ASSET INTELLIGENCE, click ISSUE REPORT SETTING.
- On the Dashboard Settings page, go to the THRESHOLDS tab, click EMAIL PREFERENCES.
The Issue report setting page opens, regardless of your path. On this page, select the type of alerts you want receive from Knox Intelligence: Network, App, or Battery.
Send email alerts for Network related issues
When sending Network related email alerts, you can choose to send alerts based on the Today’s issues report, Anomaly detection report, or both.
You can send email alerts whenever network-related events cross the reporting threshold in Today’s issues. The following network related issues can trigger email alerts:
- Wi-Fi disconnection
To configure network related email alerts:
- Select whether you want to get email alerts when event counts pass the yellow threshold, red threshold, or both.
- Select who you want to send email alerts to:
- Send email to all admins when network issue event thresholds are crossed.
- Send email to device group managers when network issue event thresholds are crossed for devices in their groups. Enter the group manager email in the provided field.
Anomaly detection (Labs)
If you’re collecting network latency data from your enterprise devices, you can choose to get an email alert within two hours of a detected latency-related anomaly.
If you enabled email alerts for this option, all admins receive alerts when network latency anomalies are detected.
Send email alerts for App related issues
You can send email alerts whenever app-related events cross a reporting threshold in Today’s issues. The following app related issues can trigger email alerts:
- App no response
- App forced close
- Abnormal app events
To configure app related email alerts:
- Select whether you want to get email alerts when event counts pass the yellow threshold, red threshold, or both.
- (Optional) Select whether you want to only collect app issues for Managed apps.
- Select who you want to send email alerts to:
- Send email to all admins when network issue event thresholds are crossed.
- Send email to device group managers when network issue event thresholds are crossed for devices in their groups. Enter the group manager email in the provided field.
Anomaly detection
If you’re collecting app data from your enterprise devices, you can choose to get an email alert whenever app-related anomalies (Abnormal, FC, or ANR) are detected.
If you enabled email alerts for this option, all admins receive alerts when network latency anomalies are detected.
Send email alerts for Battery related issues
You can send email alerts whenever battery-related events cross a reporting threshold in Today’s issues. The following app related issues can trigger email alerts:
- Low battery at shift start
To configure battery related email alerts:
- Select whether you want to get email alerts when event counts pass the yellow threshold, red threshold, or both.
- Select who you want to send email alerts to:
- Send email to all admins when network issue event thresholds are crossed.
- Send email to device group managers when network issue event thresholds are crossed for devices in their groups. Enter the group manager email in the provided field.

- Device group managers whenever network issue event thresholds are crossed (for devices in their respective groups).
- If you select device group managers, you can also send alerts to additional recipients outside of your organization. Enter the email of each recipient in the email field below.
Send network anomaly emails (Labs)
If you’re collecting network latency data from your enterprise devices, you can choose to get an email alert within two hours of a detected latency-related anomaly.
When this option is enabled, all admins will receive an email alert whenever network latency anomalies are detected.
In addition to your admins, you can also send alerts to other recipients outside of your organization. To do this, enter the email address of each recipient in the corresponding email field email below.
Network latency anomaly data is collected at a device-group level, rather than at an individual device level. To receive email alerts related to this anomaly, you must have device groups in your fleet. See Manage devices to learn more about creating device groups.
