The Apps tab lets you configure how app data is collected and displayed on the Dashboard.
Manage system apps
By default, Knox Asset Intelligence doesn’t collect data for system apps deployed in your fleet. System apps include Android system apps, or pre-loaded apps with no icons on the home launcher.
If you want to collect system app data, enable the Collect system application data option
Select managed apps
When you deploy managed apps to your fleet with a UEM, Knox Asset Intelligence categorizes them as Unmanaged Apps by default.
By manually categorizing your business apps as Managed Apps, you can enable special filters to only show these (managed) apps on the Dashboard.
To do this, simply move one or more apps from the Unmanaged Apps list to the Managed Apps list, then select Show only my managed apps in the dashboard and in the app detailed pages.
In addition to filtering, you can also configure Knox Asset Intelligence to provide recommended threshold values for battery and network consumption, using only your managed apps. This ensures that you only get recommendations based on the apps that matter to your organization, and not all apps in your fleet.
To do this, select Use only managed apps to calculate the recommended threshold value for battery and network consumption.
Only apps used within the last 60 days are available for categorization.
