App type

The App type insight provides a count of all Managed Apps and Unmanaged Apps in your fleet, based on the categories specified in Dashboard Settings > APPS.

Dashboard tile

The dashboard tile for App type displays your fleet’s total app count on the chart, with each segment representing your total managed and unmanaged app count. Hover over each segment of the chart to see the count and percentage of each app category. The count information can also be found in the table below the chart.

In the notification area, you’ll see the percentage of all apps in your fleet categorized as managed apps.
