Next, upload some devices to the portal and then register them to one or more Knox services.

Upload devices

The methods used to upload devices to each Knox service and the resources where you can find information for each are as follows:

Knox Manage (original and new consoles)

  • Devices don't need to be uploaded in advance.

Register devices to specific Knox cloud service for use

Devices uploaded to the Knox cloud services are shown in the Knox Admin Portal’s Devices page after they are approved.

To register the approved devices to specific Knox cloud services for use, you’ll need to assign them one of the following:

  • An enrollment profile containing configuration settings for Knox Mobile Enrollment, Knox E-FOTA, or Knox Asset Intelligence
  • A Knox E-FOTA campaign
  • A Knox Configure profile
  • A Samsung Care+ for Business license
