Create a Samsung Knox account

You need a Samsung Knox account to be able to use Knox cloud services.
Knox accounts are free and can be created in just a few minutes. With a Knox account, you can register for Knox services and get access to the Knox Admin Portal, where you can manage your devices, admins, and licenses across each Knox service.
Prerequisites
- An existing Samsung account: Your new Knox account will be linked to this account. If you don’t have a Samsung account, you’ll be prompted to create one.
- Knox cloud services server location: For information about setting up devices in both US and EU regions, see Before you begin. Note that you’ll need to create a Knox account for each server location.
Sign up for a Knox account
To create your Knox account:

Go to SamsungKnox.com.

In the top-right corner, click GET STARTED. The Samsung Knox page opens and guides you through the steps required to sign up. The following options are available to create an account:
- Try out Knox cloud services by opting for a free 90-day trial of Knox Suite - Enterprise Plan (includes all services included in Knox Suite), Knox Configure, or Knox Guard.
- Enroll devices to your EMM using the free services: Knox Platform for Enterprise and Knox Mobile Enrolment.
- Access Knox Admin Portal using a license that you already own.
- Manage Galaxy Enterprise Edition devices associated with a one-year Knox Suite - Enterprise Plan.

Under the Work email section:

To try Knox cloud services before purchasing a commercial license, select I want to try Samsung Knox services. You can select a Knox Suite - Enterprise Plan trial license, or trial licenses for Knox Configure or Knox Guard.

Provide your Work email. You email is also used as your username.

Click Next.
- When managing devices on both US and EU servers, as a best practice, consider appending +us or +eu (or any tag you’ll recognize) to your work email. Since the email is also used as your username, you can conveniently access both accounts with the same email. For information, see Before you begin.
- Personal email accounts, such as Gmail and Hotmail accounts, are not accepted.

Under the Product selection section:

Select a service to get its trial license:
- Knox Suite - Enterprise Plan — With this trial license, you can try out Knox Platform for Enterprise (always free), Knox Mobile Enrollment (always free), Knox Manage, Knox Remote Support, Knox E-FOTA, Knox Asset Intelligence, Knox Capture, and Knox Authentication Manager.
- Knox Configure
- Knox Guard

Click Sign up. You’re redirected to the Samsung Account page. You may need to validate with reCAPTCHA.

On the Samsung Account page:

Sign in to your Samsung account. This links your existing Samsung account to the new Knox account, and retrieves relevant Samsung account information for use in the Knox account.
If you don’t have a Samsung account, click Create account to create one. After the account is approved, open the confirmation email you receive and click the link. You’re automatically redirected to SamsungKnox.com to continue with the registration.

If you haven’t yet set up two-step verification, the Two-step verification screen displays. Enter the verification code and click Verify.
You’re redirected back to the Samsung Knox page, which now shows information from your Samsung account.

Under Samsung Account section, verify the primary contact’s information retrieved from your Samsung account, and click Next: Company Info.

Under Company information section, verify the company information retrieved from your Samsung account, and click Next: Agreement.

Review any Samsung Knox agreements shown to you and click Agree to submit your application for Knox services.
Congratulations! Your application will be reviewed and you’ll receive an email once your company is approved for Knox services.
Sign in to Samsung Knox
After you receive email confirmation approving your Samsung account, you can sign in to your account to manage it.
- In the top-right corner of SamsungKnox.com, hover over Sign in. Then, under Samsung Account, click Sign in.
- Enter your Samsung account email, then click Next.
- Enter your Samsung account password, then click Sign in.
You’re now signed in and ready to start using Knox services and products.

The process to create a Knox account includes the following steps:
- Creation of a Samsung account for Business
- Creation of a Knox account
Prerequisites
- A Samsung account for Business to link to your new Knox account. If you don’t have a Samsung account of Business, you’ll be prompted to create one.
- Knox cloud services server location: For information about setting up devices in both US and EU regions, see Before you begin. Note that you’ll need to create a Knox account for each server location.
To create your Knox account:
Step 1: Select the Knox service you want to use

To try Knox cloud services before purchasing a commercial license, select I want to try Samsung Knox services and click Next. The page displays Knox services for which trial licenses are available: Knox Suite - Enterprise Plan, Knox Configure, Knox Guard.

Select Knox Suite - Enterprise Plan and click Next. The Sign up for Samsung account for Business page displays.
Step 2: Create a Samsung account for Business and register your company

On the Sign up for Samsung account for Business page, click Sign up. You’re redirected to the Create a Samsung account for Business page.

Enter your company information:
- Company name
- Company country or region
- (Optional) Company website. The website you provide is used to set up your default domain

Provide information for your admin profile:
- First name
- Last name
- Work email
- Country code and Phone number. The country code must be for the company’s country or region specified in the previous page.
- Password
- Confirm password

Review and agree to the Privacy Notice and click Next. The Verify your identity page opens, where you can verify your work email and phone number.

Enter the verification code received on your work email and click Verify. Your phone number is displayed for verification.
If the verification fails five times, the account is not created, and you’ll have to start the process again.

Click Send code to send a verification code to your phone number. The code is valid for three minutes only.
- If required, extend the code expiration time by clicking Extend. You can extend the code expiration time twice.
- If you’d like to use a different phone number for your account, you can change it by clicking Change phone number and providing the new number.
- If you’d like to use an authentication app to generate the OTP, you can change the authentication method later.

Enter the verification code received by SMS and click Verify.

(Optional) If the domain in your email address is already registered and verified by another company for their Samsung account for Business, a notification is displayed stating that you wont be able to verify the domain after registration. You can choose one of the following to proceed:
- You can pause the sign-up process and request an invite from the admin of the existing company that has the domain registered and verified in their Samsung account for Business.
- Alternatively, you can continue with the sign up. Your account is created using a reserved domain.

On the Create a Samsung account for Business page, review and select the Terms and Conditions and the Data processing agreement, and click Agree. Your account is created and an email notification is sent to your work email to register your company with Samsung.

On the Register your company dialog, provide the following information and click Next:
- Company name is already populated, but you can update it, if required.
- D-U-N-S number. If valid, your 9-digit D-U-N-S number is used to retrieve and verify company details.

(Optional) If you don’t have a D-U-N-S number, select My company doesn’t have a D-U-N-S number and provide a valid VAT number or business registration number.

Click Next and provide your company information:

If you provided your D-U-N-S number, your company information, such as company name, country or region, address, phone number, and website, is retrieved and shown in the Review company details dialog. Verify the company information.

If you provided VAT number or business registration number, provide your company information on the page.

Click Next. The Provide contact for verification dialog displays.

Provide details of a company representative who can verify your company, and click Submit:
- First name
- Last name
- Department
- Job title
Your registration is submitted. A Samsung representative will process and verify your company information. You’ll receive an email once your company is approved for Knox services.

Click Next. Next, you’ll need to confirm your company’s local address for Samsung Knox.
Step 3: Confirm company details for Samsung Knox
Your company details are required to process and approve a Samsung Knox account.

View and verify your company details:
- To use the company information specified in Step 2 while registering the company, switch on the Use the company address from Samsung account for Business for my application toggle.
- To change company information, switch off the Use the company address from Samsung account for Business for my application toggle and specify the updated details in the fields shown. This option is useful when you want to use your local company address for the Knox account.

Click Next. The Samsung Knox agreements page displays.
Step 4: Review agreements
On the Samsung Knox agreements page, review the agreements shown to you, and click Agree.
Your Samsung Knox application is submitted for review and approval. You’ll receive email notifications when your company is registered with Samsung and your Samsung Knox application is approved. You can then access and set up the Knox Admin Portal for your company.
