Disable Maximum restrictions for BYOD devices with a work profile

Overview

The Maximum restrictions setting in Security and Privacy > Auto Blocker provides enhanced protection features, including preventing device admin apps and work profiles from being activated on your device.

For Galaxy S25 devices, enabling the Maximum restrictions setting prevents devices from being provisioned with Bring your own device (BYOD) with a work profile.

To provision your BYOD devices with a work profile, the device user must disable Maximum restrictions:

1. On the device, go to Settings.
2. Tap Security and Privacy > Auto Blocker > Maximum restrictions.
3. Disable the Maximum Restrictions setting.
