Overview

You might want to suspend your Samsung account to prevent others from accessing it. If your account has been suspended, attempting to sign in results in the following message:

This account has been suspended because it is registered to another user’s email address or phone number.

When your Samsung account is suspended, you can restore it by verifying your email.

How to suspend your Samsung account

To suspend your account, contact Samsung support and provide the following information:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Date of birth

Support will then suspend your account until you verify it again with your email.

How to restore your Samsung account

To verify your Samsung account:

  1. On the Samsung account dashboard, click Sign in.
  2. Enter your credentials.
  3. Click Resend email.
  4. A verification email is sent to your address. In the email, click Verify account.

Once you’ve verified your account, you’re then able to access your Samsung account again.
