Error USR-B1003 when assigning a license to a device

Overview

You may encounter an issue while assigning a license to a device. The assignment fails with the following error:

Failed: USR-B1003: ALREADY_REGISTERED_DEVICE

Cause

If the device already has a license assigned, attempting to assign a new license results in a license conflict.

Additional Information

To resolve the issue, you must first remove the existing license assignment on the device before assigning the new license. If you encounter this issue and are unable to remove the existing license assignment, please submit a support ticket.
