IBM MaaS360: Deploy Company-owned device
To enroll your device as an Android Enterprise Company-owned device, you need to ensure the device is factory reset and at the welcome screen. From here, there are 3 ways you can enroll your device into Workspace ONE UEM as an Android Enterprise Company-owned device.
- DPC Identifier, also known as the hashtag method, afw#maas360
- QR Code Enrollment / NFC Enrollment
- Knox Mobile Enrollment
Below is a screen-by-screen play to enroll your device using the DPC Identifier method.
1. Click Start arrow
2. Accept T’s & C’s

3. Skip Import of Old Data
4. Enter afw#maas360 and click next
5. Install MaaS360 MDM app
6. Install MaaS360 MDM app
7. Accept and Continue
8. Setting Up Work Device
9. Enter email and Corporate ID
10. Enter Credentials
11. Review Steps and Continue
12. Accept Terms and Continue
13. Configure Google Account - Continue
14. Setup Finished Click Close
15. Device Enrollment Successful!

1. Click 6 times On 1st screen
2. Scan QR Code Generated in Console
3. Connect to WiFi
4. Click Next When Connected
5. Accept and Continue
6. Setting Up Work Device
7. Accept T’s & C’s
8. Wait for Enrollment
9. Configure Google Account - Continue
10. Wait for Google Account Configuration
11. Setup Finishing Note ELM Activation
12. Setup Finished Click Close
13. Open App Catalog
14. Note apps Installed
