Step 1: Citrix: Add to UEM console

Citrix Endpoint Management is a secure, unified device management portal that works with KSP. This section provides instructions on how to set up KSP with Citrix Endpoint Management.

Before you begin

Before you begin, however, ensure that you have:

  1. Access to the Citrix Endpoint Management console.
  2. Linked your Citrix Endpoint Management console with a Managed Google Account. Doing so allows you to deploy Android Enterprise devices.
  3. Enrolled eligible devices and applied any necessary enterprise policies.

Add the Knox Service Plugin

To use KSP with Citrix, you first need to add KSP into the console.

  1. Log in to your Managed Google account and go to Approve the app.
  2. Log in to your Citrix Endpoint Management console.
  3. On the top navigation bar, click Configure.
  4. On the sub navigation bar, click Apps.
  5. Under the Apps header, click Add.
  6. In the Add app dialog, select Public App Store.
  7. In the dialog that opens, add a name and description. For example, Knox Service Plugin.
  8. You are now on the Public App store page. Select Android Enterprise and deselect all other platforms.

  9. You now can search for KSP and add it to your console. To do this, enter the KSP package name——in the search box, and then click Search.
  10. Confirm the settings you want for App Details, Deployment Rules, and Store Configurations. Click Next.
  11. Confirm the settings you want for Approvals (optional) and Delivery Group Assignments (optional). Click Save.
  12. KSP is now added to your console.
