AVDs don't emulate the Knox container. In AVDs, there's no Knox app launcher icon and all the classes defined in Knox SDKs return the ClassDefNotFound exception.
To test an app inside the Knox container, use one of the following methods:
- Container Tool — Contact Samsung Knox Support and request the Container Tool. After installing this tool on a device, you can create a Knox container and sideload your app via USB from your computer to the container. This is the recommended method.
- Real Container: On a Knox supported device, activate a Knox Workspace container using a trial or paid license. Use your EMM console to send the app Over-the-Air (OTA) to the device and install the app in the Knox container. To get a Knox license, contact a reseller.
