Overview

On August 9th, 2020, VMware Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub’s Enterprise Licensing Management (ELM) Service application is reaching End of Service (EoS).

After this date, the following public download URL will be unavailable for Samsung Knox Mobile Enrollment (KME) users:

https://discovery.awmdm.com/mobileenrollment/SamsungELMService.apk

How will this affect Knox Mobile Enrollment users?

As a KME user, you can no longer use the Samsung ELM Service download URL. Customers using the above URL in their legacy Device Administrator (DA) profiles must remove it from their KME enrollment profile.

Ensure the URL is removed before the EoS date on August 9th, 2020, or your devices will fail to enroll.

If a device is currently enrolled with a profile that includes the URL, it remains unaffected unless it is factory reset.
