Register a license
To activate Knox Manage and its features, you must first register the license key.
Register a Knox Manage, Knox Suite, or Knox Workspace license
IT admins can now easily register the license that was provided to them by their Knox reseller. IT admins can choose to register their licenses manually or through automatic registration.
To register a Knox Manage, Knox Suite, or Knox Workspace license key, complete the following steps:
- Navigate to Setting > License.
- Click Add.
- In the “Add License” window, enter the license key and click
.
- Click Save. The license is verified and its detailed information is available in the License list at the bottom of the window.
On the license list, the No. of Device(s) in Use column displays the total of enrolled, expired, and disconnected devices.
Register a Knox E-FOTA on MDM license
An E-FOTA license is required to use Knox E-FOTA on MDM with Knox Manage.
NOTE— If instead you want to use Knox E-FOTA One with Knox Manage, you need a Knox Suite license.
To register an E-FOTA license key, complete the following steps:
- Navigate to Setting > License.
- Click Add.
- In the “Add License” window, enter the license key and click
.
- Enter the authentication information you received from the SLM in the authentication fields.
- Client ID—Access ID for calling APIs from the E-FOTA server
- Client Secret—Access password for calling APIs from the E-FOTA server
- Customer ID—Client ID for the E-FOTA service
- Click Save.
NOTE—If no E-FOTA license is registered, the menu for E-FOTA management in the Admin Portal does not open.
