Manage application categories
If you register application categories, applications are displayed in categories on the mobile devices. Add new categories or modify the existing categories for classifying applications.
Adding categories
To add a new category, do as follows:
- Navigate to Application.
- On the Application page, click Manage Category.
- On the Manage Category screen, click Add.
- On the Add Category screen, enter the following information:
- Name—Enter the category name.
- Description—Enter a description for the category.
- Click Save.
NOTE—
- Up to 15 categories can be added and up to 100 applications can be registered in each category.
- A new category is added as the last in the order.
- If you do not set the category when adding an application, the application is added to the Common category.
Changing the category order
To rearrange the category, do as follows:
- Navigate to Application.
- On the Application page, click Manage Category.
- On the Manage Category screen, select one or more categories to be moved and click

- Click Save.
- On the Save Changes screen, click OK.
Modifying categories
To modify an existing category, complete the following steps:
- Navigate to Application.
- On the Application page, click Manage Category.
- On the Manage Category screen, select a category to be modified and click Modify.
- On the Modify Category screen, modify the existing information.
- Click Save.
Deleting categories
To delete an existing category, complete the do as follows:
- Navigate to Application.
- On the Application page, click Manage Category.
- On the Manage Category screen, select a category to be deleted and click Delete.
- On the Delete Category screen, click OK.
