How to sync web applications on Knox Manage

Overview

This knowledge base article guides you through the steps on how to sync web apps in Knox Manage (KM).

A web application is an application that can be accessed through a web browser, without using the device's internal memory, and is distributed over the network. Web apps can be accessed through multiple platforms such as desktop, tablet or smartphone. You can use a Web app in kiosk mode with internet access and firewall rules to access your organization's Web tool, avoiding the need for a custom app.

How to sync web applications on Knox Manage

After creating a new web app, you need to manually perform a sync action for the app to become available on the Applications list. You may need to wait up to 15 minutes before the app is available.

  1. In the left sidebar of your Knox Manage console, click Application.
  2. In the Application console, click Sync MGP.
  3. In the Sync MGP pop-up box, click OK.

The new web app appears in the list of applications. You can assign the web app to a group or organization.
