Overview
Knox E-FOTA Advanced was declared end of life as of September 22, 2022. Device users who still have the Knox E-FOTA Advanced app on their devices are unable to uninstall it manually. Users can’t push policies to the devices or perform a factory reset to remove the app, because the Knox E-FOTA Advanced console is no longer accessible. For these devices, Samsung provides a means to uninstall the Knox E-FOTA Advanced app.
How to uninstall the Knox E-FOTA Advanced app
To uninstall the Knox E-FOTA Advanced app, a one-time-use package is provided that configures Knox API policies to enable the user to uninstall the Knox E-FOTA Advanced app or factory reset the device. You can download the package here:
