Configuration errors

This section describes tips for troubleshooting configuration errors. Configuration errors can occur when pushing custom policies using the Knox Configure admin portal.

Error 51010: Error with <Configuration item>

Cause

There is a file or profile setting error.

Device message

Configuration Failed. An error occurred while configuring the device. Contact your IT admin or retry the configuration activity.

Log message

An error occurred with <API name> <application name> <content file name> in your profile. Check the profile configuration and retry.

700101: 700100: Internal server error

Cause

The device failed to connect to the Knox Configure agent due to a internal server error.

Device message

An error occurred while configuring the device. Contact your IT admin or retry.

Log message

Device internal error. If the problem persists, contact Samsung and provide a device log to assist with troubleshooting.

Troubleshoot

A system error occurred. Refresh the page and try again. If the problem persists, contact Samsung.

700102: Error with profile schema

Cause

The profile enrollment schema is incorrect or corrupted.

Device message

An error occurred while configuring the device. Contact your IT admin or retry.

Log message

An error occurred with <API name> <application name> <content file name> in your profile. Check the configuration items in your profile and retry.

Troubleshoot

A system error occurred. Refresh the page and try again. If the problem persists, contact Samsung.

700106: Network error

Cause

There is an error with your network.

Device message

An error occurred while configuring the device. Contact your IT admin or retry.

Log message

Device enrollment error. Check the device network environment and retry. If the problem persists, contact Samsung and provide a device log to assist with troubleshooting.

Troubleshoot

A system error occurred. Check your network requirements and then refresh the page and try again. If the problem persists, contact Samsung.

700114: 700115: Certificate error

Cause

There was an error when trying to store or retrieve the server certificate.

An error occurred while configuring the device. Contact your IT admin or retry.

Log message

Device enrollment error. Check the device network environment and retry. If the problem persists, contact Samsung and provide a device log to assist with troubleshooting.

700116: Dangerous permissions error

Cause

An error was generated when granting a dangerous permission exception.

An error occurred when setting the remove admin attribute to false.

There was an network error when trying to communicate with the Knox Configure agent.

Cause

Push policy before finalizing enrollment.

61011: Failed to get serial number from device

Cause

This is not a commercial device OR there is a problem in the device system.

Gear not configured. Try again or the problem continues, contact your IT admin.

61012: No response received from KC agent

Cause

No response received from KC agent.
