Duplicate a profile

NOTE - Profile duplication is only supported in Admin mode.

Create a new profile by duplicating an existing one, then make minor adjustments to the scan engine settings, apps and activities, and the keystroke output rules as needed.

1. Select a profile to duplicate

To select a profile for duplication:

  1. Tap the name of the profile to duplicate from within the home screen.

  1. From the upper-right of the profile detail screen, tap the more actions menu icon to the right of the profile name.
  1. Select Duplicate.

  1. Alternatively, tap the + icon to the right of the Profiles list label on the home screen, and select Duplicate existing profile.

  1. Select a target profile from within the Select profile to duplicate screen.

2. Name the new profile

To assign a name to a new profile:

  1. Enter a name for the new profile within the Duplicate new profile as pop-up.
  1. Tap Done.

3. Configure the new profile

Continue navigating through the profile creation dialog to add apps and activities, configure scan engine settings, and set keystroke output rules. For instructions on configuring a profile, refer to IT admins: Getting started with Knox Capture- Step 3: Select apps and Activities.
