Manage your assets

This section describes how to view asset information and find assets using the real-time location service.

View asset information

To view information for an asset in the real-time location service:

1. On the Venues page, click the name of the venue the asset is assigned to.
2. In the list of assets below the venue map, click the ID of the asset. In the top ribbon, you can also search for the asset by clicking and entering its IMEI or serial number.

Find an asset

Extending the functionality of the outdoor location tracking feature, the real-time location service allows you to locate an asset indoors.

To find an asset:

1. On the Venues page, click the name of the venue the asset is assigned to.
2. In the top ribbon, click and enter the asset's IMEI or serial number. Then, click SEARCH.
3. The asset list updates to show only the asset you searched for. Select it, then click ACTIONS > Find asset.

4. In the Find device dialog, configure the alert settings as needed.

   

5. Click FIND NOW to send the alert to the device.
