Disconnect from an identity provider

Only super admins with an active Samsung account can disconnect an identity provider from Knox cloud services.

As a super admin, you can disconnect an identity provider from Knox cloud services to prevent users from signing in with credentials from an identity provider.

To disconnect your organization from an identity provider:

  1. Go to SamsungKnox.com.
  2. Hover over Sign In. Under Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, or Ping Identity, click SIGN IN.
  3. Sign in with the credentials from your identity provider.
  4. On the portal, click your account icon and go to your account settings.
  5. Click the IDENTITY PROVIDER SETTINGS tab.
  6. Click DISCONNECT.

Once you confirm the disconnection, your enterprise’s admins can no longer sign in with an identity provider unless you configure it again.

After an identity provider is disconnected, your enterprise’s admins can only use a Samsung account to sign in to the Knox Admin Portal and other Knox service consoles.
