Unenroll devices

If you no longer want to manage a device with Knox E-FOTA One, you must unenroll it in order to re-enable B2C FOTA updates on that device.

To unenroll a device

  1. Log in to the Knox E-FOTA One portal.
  2. Go to DevicesAll Devices.
  3. Select the device you want to unenroll.
  4. Click Actions > Unenroll devices.

The Knox E-FOTA client app is uninstalled automatically from the device.

NOTE—If the app is not automatically uninstalled, you must manually uninstall it.

Once the app is uninstalled, the device is unenrolled from Knox E-FOTA, and B2C FOTA updates are re-enabled on it. To verify whether B2C FOTA updates have been successfully enabled on the device, go to Settings > Software update. If B2C FOTA updates are enabled, the options in this screen are no longer greyed out (disabled).
