Unenroll devices

If you no longer want to manage a device with Knox E-FOTA, you must unenroll it in order to re-enable B2C FOTA updates on that device.

To unenroll a device:

  1. Sign in to the Knox Admin Portal. In the left sidebar, click Knox E-FOTA.
  2. Go to Devices > All Devices.
  3. Select the device you want to unenroll.
  4. Click Actions > Unenroll devices.

Once the device is unenrolled from Knox E-FOTA, and B2C FOTA updates are re-enabled on it. To verify whether B2C FOTA updates have been successfully enabled on the device, go to Settings > Software update. If B2C FOTA updates are enabled, the options in this screen are no longer greyed out (disabled).
