Knox E-FOTA Advanced supports forced OS updates using two different methods:
- A Silent Update updates the firmware without any user interaction.
- A Critical Update allows the device user to delay the update while a critical task is in progress, but the user can't decline the update.
Although Knox E-FOTA on MDM supports silent updates, its implementation depends on your MDM vendor. That is, your MDM may use different terminologies or may not support forced updates through Knox E-FOTA on MDM.
