By using Knox E-FOTA, you can control the following features of an OS upgrade.
- Major firmware upgrades: Control if devices are able to upgrade to a new OS (for example: Nougat → Oreo)
- Security patches: Control Samsung or Android Security patches from automatically installing.
- Samsung's internal bug fixes: Control Samsung internal bug fixes from automatically installing.
- App updates: Control app from automatically updating. For example: you can prevent apps from updating to a version that may not work properly with your deployment.
