Confirm server connection
Once you've installed the Knox E-FOTA Advanced client APK to a device, you can now confirm the device's connection to the Knox E-FOTA Advanced server. This section describes how to confirm your device-server connection.
Confirm device-server connection
To verify that the device is connected to the Knox E-FOTA Advanced server:
- On the device, open the Knox E-FOTA Advanced client app.
- On the Knox E-FOTA Advanced portal, go to: Device Management > Devices.
On the device list, ensure that the Last Reported and Last Seen status corresponds to the time the Knox E-FOTA Advanced client app was opened.
Delete a device from the Knox E-FOTA Advanced server
Once your trial expires, you can enable device updates through the Settings menu. However, you must first delete the device from the Knox E-FOTA Advanced portal and then uninstall the Knox E-FOTA Advanced client app.
On the Knox E-FOTA Advanced portal, delete the device from the server:
- Go to Device management > Devices.
- Scroll to the Devices section.
- Click Delete on the target Device ID you want to delete.
Uninstall the Knox E-FOTA Advanced client app from the device:
- On the device, tap and hold the client app icon.
- Select Uninstall.
