Get started
Use the Quick Start menu to access the following options:
- Organization and User settings
- Device and App Management Profile settings
- Invite users and deploy profiles
On the home page of the Knox Manage Admin Portal, click Quick Start to access the tool.
Add individual users
- On the Set Organization & User step, enter an Organization Title and click Add to register users to the organization.
- In the Add User window, enter user information and click Save.
- You can review existing registered users and their groups in Devices & Users > Users & Organization.
Create a Device Management Profile
- To set device policies, under Device Management Profile, click Create Profile.
- In the Set a Device Management Profile window, enter a device management profile name. Enable or disable policies as required and click Save.
Create an Application Management Profile
- To set policies for your apps, under App Management Profile, click Create Profile.
- To add an internal app to a list of applications to be deployed, click Add.
Register internal apps
- Next to Application Type, select Internal.
- Select the Platform and Browse for the Installation file.
- Fill out other required fields and click Save.
Register public apps
- Next to Application Type, select Public.
- In the Store dropdown, select an app store. Select the country where your will be deploying your devices. Select a public app store from the dropdown. Enter the name of an app, and click Search.
- Select the app from the search result and click Save.
- Select an app to deploy and click > and then click Save.
- Click Next.
- Review the settings that you've entered. If you don't need to make any further changes, click Deploy.
- To modify the previously saved settings, under Device or App Management Profile, click Modify.
- To modify the previously saved settings, under Device or App Management Profile, click Modify.
- Select a method for deploying the profile and click Confirm.
- When the profile has been successfully deployed to a device, click Close to exit the Quick Start Wizard.
Review devices, users, and profiles
To review:
- Devices — Go to Devices & Users > Devices.
- Users — Go to Devices & Users > Users & Organization.
- Profiles — Go to Profiles > Device Management Profile or Application Management Profile.
